My Story From Bodyshop to Bodywork: A Journey Through Pain, Purpose, and Alignment
I began my career in a body shop, restoring antique cars—straightening frames, smoothing dents, welding panels, and making the broken look whole again. But life had other plans.
Years ago, I was in a relationship with someone who lived with relentless, debilitating headaches. Emergency room visits became part of our rhythm. I watched, powerless, as medication after medication failed her, stripping away parts of her identity along with her physical health. I was a fixer by nature—yet I couldn’t fix this.
Her suffering reshaped me. I made a quiet vow: I would find a way to help.
We dove into everything—Reiki, reflexology, chiropractic, massage, diet changes, therapy. And as I began to witness the connection between emotional pain and physical symptoms, something shifted in me. At the time, I was still repairing fifteen cars a week. But slowly, I started to realize that maybe I was meant to help repair bodies of a different kind.
In 2007 I left the body shop and entered the world of insurance claims adjusting. By 2010, I left the insurance world—where even human touch was discouraged—and became a licensed massage therapist. My hands found their true calling. I discovered a gift for relieving pain, especially headaches. But the deeper lesson came when I realized that healing isn’t just about removing pain. Sometimes, it’s about helping people find the courage to meet who they are beneath it.
That chapter of my life eventually ended, and it was painful. But when the lights went out—literally and metaphorically—I saw the sacred punctuation of the universe reminding me that even endings are part of the alignment.
Her pain and everyone else's became a teacher, a catalyst to understand why and how things get to the point of failure. That experience lit a fire in me to help others who truly want to heal—not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.
Today, I blend structural massage, intuitive touch, lymphatic education, and energy work into something uniquely my own. I teach people how to listen to their body’s wisdom—how to shift, release, and align. My work isn't just therapy, it’s transformation.
Because I no longer fix cars.
I help people remember who they are underneath the dents.
